About Zeitgeist
Taste has patterns. We find them.
Zeitgeist exists because "what's popular" is almost always the wrong question — the right one is "what's popular with the person I'm actually trying to reach."
Our Mission
Turn scattered signal into one confident answer.
Trend reports have always had a resolution problem: they're either too broad to act on ("Gen Z loves sustainability") or too narrow to trust (one focus group, one influencer). Zeitgeist was built to close that gap — combining the breadth of AI-scale data with the specificity of a real cohort definition, so teams get an answer sharp enough to build a product brief around.
How We Got Here
Started from a simple frustration.
Every merchandising and product team we talked to was doing the same thing manually: scrolling marketplaces, screenshotting social posts, cross-referencing search trends, and trying to hold it all in their head to describe "the one that's winning right now" for their specific customer. That process doesn't scale, and it doesn't hold up when someone asks "how do you know?" Zeitgeist automates exactly that process — and keeps the receipts, so the answer is explainable, not just a hunch with better production values.
What We Believe
Three principles behind every composite.
Rigor over guesswork
An archetype is only useful if you can trace it back to the signal that produced it. We show our sourcing, not just our conclusion.
Specificity over averages
"Popular in general" is rarely actionable. We'd rather give you the exact answer for a precise cohort than a vague one for everyone.
Living data, not a snapshot
Taste moves. Our composites are designed to be refreshed, not framed and left on a shelf.
